A wooded dispersed site along a rocky dry creek, this spot sits just north of Bell Road (Forest Road 1334) off Charleston Road in the Ozark National Forest, within a popular OHV and multi-use trail area. The mostly level dirt surface has a rock fire ring and fits a few vehicles up to campervan size near the fire ring, with additional space closer to the lake for larger setups. Flooding is a real consideration here: the lake level affects usable area, and the site can go underwater. Heavy tree cover limits solar panel use, though a clearing near the lake provides an alternative. Brock Creek Campground is nearby for campers who want an established primitive site with more consistent conditions, and there are also places to camp near Jerusalem for those staging trips in the broader area.
