Stewart's Camp

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Getting to Stewart's Camp requires navigating a rough road, and campers should expect that 6.5-mile drive from Highway 87 to be part of the experience. No cell service. Set within Tonto National Forest, this dispersed site costs $8 and allows campfires, pets, and alcohol. Additional sites sit further along the trail for those who prefer to walk in rather than drive the full route. The camp draws hunters and off-road vehicle users, making it a reasonable base for either activity.

Great Place To Get Away!

There's no cell service which makes this place a perfect place to just get away without having to go forever away from the valley. Hunting and off roading available. Expect a rough road in but worth it. There's also more sites along the trail in if you don't want to take the 6.5 mile trip from the 87.
