Accessible via the Apache Trail, Canyon Lake Overlook provides dispersed camping with three distinct sites that fill quickly. The entrance sits just past Canyon Lake Vista Overlook on the left when approaching from Apache Junction. Two sites overlook Canyon Lake directly, while the third sits higher up the access road beneath power lines at the hilltop.
RVs up to 20 feet can navigate the access road to these spots. Campers seeking developed amenities might prefer Canyon Lake Marina & Campground, located southeast along the same scenic route.
