AJ's Getaway RV Park provides 43 spacious sites with 50/30-amp electric hookups, sewer connections, and water, with sufficient space for larger motorhomes and fifth wheels. Forest-Edge RV Haven maintains three RV-specific sites with 50/30-amp electrical connections, water, sewer, and trash service, though alcohol is prohibited on the premises. Venture In RV Resort in nearby Show Low accommodates big rigs with 50-amp service, full hookups, and shower facilities.
Driving conditions vary significantly throughout the area, with some campgrounds requiring navigation along forest roads that may become difficult during wet weather. Cell service fluctuates widely across the region - Verizon and AT&T coverage is typically available but often limited to voice calls rather than data streaming. Most established RV parks welcome pets, though site-specific restrictions may apply. Dump stations are available at select locations including AJ's Getaway and Mogollon RV Park. Summer temperatures generally remain moderate due to the higher elevation, but winter brings significant snowfall that can limit access. According to one RV owner, "Sites are pretty level, really wide, and fairly deep. There is a concrete patio with each site. Sites are covered in cinders which are a bit of a pain. They present a somewhat soft surface which is like walking in about 6 inches of soft sand."
