Hidden Oasis RV Park

The park feels like an oasis. The park staff are awesome. The office is colocated with the cafe:pie shop. This is our last stop before our final push to Tucson tomorrow. The route down the east side of the sierra’s into Vegas and down into Arizona is the best route we’ve taken (Not recommended during the winter. Lots of high passes. .

This campground is very well maintained. There ate concrete pads, picnic table and firerings. There are bathrooms and fresh water hydrants. The bathrooms ate clean. I heard owls hooting, saw some rabbits, and heard coyotes at night. There are drive thru sites for big rigs. There is tent camping. There is a camp host year round. Weather was. Mild views were great.

This was a convenient stop when travelling from the grand canyon area south towards Phoenix. The town of Wikieup is very small with a trading post, a couple gas stations and 2 open diners. The campground sites were close together and the bathroom/shower facilities were clean. The onsite laundry facility was handy after boondocking for 2 weeks. The onsite diner was only open monday thru thursday, but there is another diner open daily just 5 min down the road. Overall, the campground was in need of a little "sprucing up", the owners were very nice, friendly, and helpful; and it lacks shade from the hot az sun.
