Campers regularly cited smooth road access and good cell service at this free dispersed site. Several guests observed steep terrain challenges for large RVs beyond the flat camping area.

Easy in and easy out

Easy to find and several spots with campfire stone ringsm You could pull a trailer in here. No need for a high clearance vehicle. However, don't go past the campsite cluster on the right, just betore the hill if you are pulling a trailer. There are no trailer turn around spots over the big dirt hill. I went over the hill in my full truck sized 4x4, no issue. Ran into several off roaders, who were enjoying the dirt roads and steep inclines. At mile marker 15, on the right as you go in, there is a very secluded campsite down a narrow dirt road. Alas, someone already had it. I ended heading back to the main cluster of campsites. There is some hiking potential out here. Could stay a few days and have a nice time. Att, 4G lte, 2 bars 3 out of 5 stars primarily due to the trash around the campsites.

Good camping

Stayed here 1 night in our 30ft tow behind. Didn't go too far down the road but it looks like a lot of nice camping back here and beautiful mountain views. Fairly smooth, hard packed road from what we saw.

Signal Road BLM free dispersed

Only 1.1 miles from Hwy 93, gravel road has been upgraded to a wide smooth surface. WARNING, past this flat area Signal road gets very steep and with wash dips and there is no easy turnaround for large RVs or TT for at least 3 miles. No tables, no trash, no water, just pure free dispersed. Cell signal is 5 bars on T-Mobile. Only 11 miles north of Burro Creek BLM CG.
