Signal Road BLM dispersed

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Gravel gives way to wide, smooth road just 1.1 miles off Highway 93, making the initial approach to Signal Road BLM dispersed accessible even to trailers and rigs that can't handle rough terrain. The flat section near the entrance has a cluster of established sites with fire rings already in place. Past that cluster, though, the road climbs steeply over a dirt hill with no easy turnaround for larger setups, so trailer drivers should stop before that point and explore the rest on foot or in a separate vehicle.

The dispersed sites spread out along the road, with more pullouts the further in you go. As Greg L. puts it: "No tables, no trash, no water, just pure free dispersed." Cell coverage is solid, with T-Mobile and Verizon both reporting usable signal. Off-road riders frequently use the area, drawn by the steep dirt roads and inclines beyond the main camping cluster, so expect some OHV traffic during the day.

Trash around the campsites has come up in multiple reviews, worth noting for campers who pack out carefully. There are no facilities on site. No water, no tables. The nearby Burro Creek Campground sits roughly seven miles southeast and provides a managed alternative with more amenities if needed. Signal Road works well as a free overnight stop on the Vegas-to-Phoenix corridor, or as a base for a few nights of dirt road riding and low-key desert camping.

Easy in and easy out

Easy to find and several spots with campfire stone ringsm You could pull a trailer in here. No need for a high clearance vehicle. However, don't go past the campsite cluster on the right, just betore the hill if you are pulling a trailer. There are no trailer turn around spots over the big dirt hill. I went over the hill in my full truck sized 4x4, no issue. Ran into several off roaders, who were enjoying the dirt roads and steep inclines. At mile marker 15, on the right as you go in, there is a very secluded campsite down a narrow dirt road. Alas, someone already had it. I ended heading back to the main cluster of campsites. There is some hiking potential out here. Could stay a few days and have a nice time. Att, 4G lte, 2 bars 3 out of 5 stars primarily due to the trash around the campsites.

Good camping

Stayed here 1 night in our 30ft tow behind. Didn't go too far down the road but it looks like a lot of nice camping back here and beautiful mountain views. Fairly smooth, hard packed road from what we saw.
