Burro Creek Overflow Dispersed Area

It’s a level spot and has a view of the surrounding mountains but there is no shade in sight! It has some road noise but not enough to keep you from sleep. We did ride into the mountains and found some wild Burros which was pretty cool to see. Lots of people come here to rock hound so we are going down to the river to check it out. There is a campground right down the road that has a dump and water for a small fee that anyone can use. It’s pretty here but not much shade.

Did get a spot in the CG but checked out the dispersed area. It did have ATT cell signal for messaging. Area well spread out, only a couple of rigs camped.

When the Burro Creek CG is full, this is your option to wait for a spot to open. Good cell signal but no water, trash, or marked sites. The Burro Creek CG does allow the dry campers to come in and use the RV dump and fill with water $10 fee.
