Nice One Night Pull-Off

Was just passing through and needed a quick place to stop for the night. Totally did the trick! Lots of road noise but a very easy spot to pull in and out of.

Nice spot for OHV

The views of the mountains are nice here! Right off the highway, there is lots of noise. This area is a bunch of level gravel lots. Accessible to any kind of big rig or camper. You can explore a bit to get a place that is more private, but you will want 4x4 and high clearance. Lots of fire rings scattered about, and some trash here and there.

If you want to get some exercise in, there is an abandoned mine 1.5 miles up the road. Seems like lots of people take off-road vehicles up that way.

No services, pack in, pack out. Verizon service was good.

Limited Access - Great Bandwidth

Having stayed on the went side of Qszite in the 7-14 days are on Cholla rd, I was seeking usable bandwidth on Verizon and heard about this spot. The entry are is accessible by any size rig, but deeper access viz either side of the Y will restrict access to high ground clearance and other vehicles that do not mind those gully crossings.  I-10 *is* right there, but I found the noise not enough to wake me in the night.

Another advantage ... yesterday was a dust storm and this location, while just as gusty and windy, was no where near as dusty and made a good spot to get out of the maylay...
