Free dispersed camping in Coconino National Forest, this site sits above the Wet Beaver Creek drainage near Coconino NF Dispersed off FR 121 (Lawrence Crossing), with access to the river at Lawrence Crossing a short drive or walk away. The road in is rough. High clearance or 4x4 is recommended before attempting the approach. Cell service is available, campfires and pets are permitted, and there is no fee. Campers who can handle the road conditions and want direct access to a swimming hole in the creek will find this site worth the drive.
