Coconino NF Dispersed off FR 121 (Lawrence Crossing)

Description

Along the FR 121 corridor in Coconino National Forest, this horseshoe-shaped pullout sits in open high-desert terrain roughly 20 minutes from Sedona, within easy reach of Montezuma's Well and the V Bar V Heritage Site petroglyphs. Multiple fire-pit sites are spread along the road, accommodating everything from vans and tents to larger rigs, with the Bell Trail and Wet Beaver Creek drainage nearby for day hikes. The access road is one lane in places and can develop ruts when wet, so high-clearance is advisable after rain — the entrance gate may be closed in those conditions.
