Desert's Edge RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Day trips to Jerome and Sedona are within reach from Desert's Edge RV Park, a full-hookup RV park in the north Phoenix area that functions well as a base for exploring the region. Sites accommodate rigs up to 60 feet and include electric, water, and sewer connections. The park also has a pool, laundry facilities, and WiFi, and reservations are available for those planning ahead.

Sites run fairly close together, something multiple reviewers flag as a trade-off worth knowing before arrival. Laura D. describes it as "a very quiet place for such a large park," which gives some context for how the density actually feels day-to-day. Staff responsiveness gets consistent praise, including an after-hours check-in system where keys and paperwork are left in a box outside the office for late arrivals. Pricing comes up repeatedly as a strong point, particularly for monthly stays.

Cleanliness is a recurring topic in reviews, and the picture is mixed. The grounds themselves are described as well maintained, but shower facilities have drawn criticism, with at least one reviewer noting mildew on a curtain. It is worth checking the bathrooms on arrival. North Phoenix RV Park, Deer Valley RV Park, and Phoenix Metro RV Park are all within a half mile for campers who want to compare options in the immediate area. Pets are allowed, and those planning longer stays in the region can browse places to camp around Phoenix for additional context. Book in advance for weekend arrivals during the cooler fall and winter months, when demand in the Phoenix area tends to climb.

A good place for a one night stay

I stayed here for 6 months in 2019 if the staff do not like you they will make things up and try to get you to move they also accused me of speeding on a motorcycle that I did not own or know how to ride they also said my roommate was looking into peoples cars when he was not

Lovely park, yucky shower

I really did enjoy my stay here- the grounds are well maintained, the people are very friendly, the price was fair. Then I took a shower- and the enjoyment ended. The shower curtain had pink mildew growing up it about a third of the length from the floor. Hair everywhere (granted that cannot always be controlled). I had trouble believing this shower was cleaned daily solely based on the mildew growing on the curtain. It is so easy to wash a shower curtain or replace it! Otherwise it really was a nice stay, but pink mildew knocks the park down to three stars.

Decent spot in North Phoenix

Got a great deal on a monthly spot here. Not super close to anything, but wound up exploring Jerome and Sedona to the North and most of Phoenix to the South while I was there with my 35ft rig. The facilities are so so, but again, great for the price. Felt very welcome and safe at this RV park.

Perfect for first timers!

This was our first stop after picking up our rental RV for the first time. We arrived after the office was closed, but they had our bathroom keys and paperwork ready for us in the box outside the office. I’m not sure if they knew we were newbies or we just got lucky, but our spot was right in front of the main office and next to the bathrooms. We had a short stay because we’re off to other sites in AZ, but I would highly recommend this clean, family friendly park, especially as a newbie.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

The greatest RV park I’ve stayed at and I’ve been traveling for 5 years. The office gals and owner were so great. The price was reasonable. The pool was great. The spots are a little close together and 1/2 of the laundry machines were out but all the other stuff made up for it. It’s a great park. If you’re in the north PHX area, I would highly recommend this park.
