Plus 55 Resort.

Full hookups, pull through and back in sites. Most are level. Great amenities.

SiteSite 231 was a level, back in site. Site 49 was a borrow pull through, not enough room to open awning.

Just came here for dumping station

It seems you have to be over 55 to camp here so can’t comment on that but staff was very friendly in helping us to dumping station. $15 to dump. The reception was very nice, with clean bathrooms, laundry and exercise room.

Nice park great customer service

This is a very nice park, mostly permanent residents. Tons of activities and social interaction. I’m not real keen on high occupancy parks but I wanted to stay near Phoenix - just not in Phoenix. Here to attend my grandsons graduation. Close to major shopping and restaurants. Extremely quiet. Note: WiFi is available in the recreation center but in your rig, there is an outside service available. (I’m using my ATT hotspot). Great tv reception.

Not user friendly

Wanted to camp at a site but you have to be 55, I am 52 and wasn’t allowed there. Unbelievable

Site55 or older, no other camp grounds will answer phones in the Phoenix area and you can’t even leave a message. unbelievable

Somehow a bit disappointing

We stayed here for just two nights, and it is pretty clear that this is a campground with LOTS (a hefty majority) of folks who stay here for long stretches.  Lots of little mobile homes with rigs parked by them.  I suspect there are snowbirds & full-timers.  Not so many short termers like us.

We were given Spot #2, right by the exit and really, even outside of the main gate.  A LONG way from the amenties...so much so that you really wouldn't want to walk to the clubhouse.

It's an expensive place, and does seem to have nice amenities, including bocci ball, pickleball, pool, clubhouse, etc.  For such a big "fancy" place, it's funny that you can't reserve online and when I called to reserve, they didn't even give me a confirmation # or email.  "Us talking right now is your confirmation."  And then, when we checked in, it was a painfully slow process, whereby they wrote down everything SLOWLY by hand.  Wrote down all my credit card info, and then just ran the card.  So I left the front desk with not a great feeling.

All hook-ups worked.  That was good.  I used my Verizon hot spot and because we were on the edge of Phoenix, we certainly had a good signal.

The plain gravel sites are VERY close to each other.  I barely had room to hook up without walking onto my neighbor's outdoor dining area.  My wife and I had a good laugh about how close we were.

It's a clean, tidy and "secure" (if your spot is inside their gate) location.  But it really wasn't for us.  We felt like 2nd class citizens.  Won't stay here again.

Out ran a winter storm and stumbled upon this gem!

Great place for some R&R! While out-running a winter storm in Northern Arizona we headed South. Traveling through the Phoenix area we thought it would be hard to find a GOOD, CLEAN and AFFORDABLE place to stay since it was during the winter holidays. We lucked out when we happened upon this gem. The resort was safe, clean, had great amenities, and the staff were great.

-- AND THEY HAD GREAT PRICES! --

It did seem the pull-thru sites were a bit tight. However, we stayed in one of the standard RV spaces. So, we can't confirm that they actually are tight, it just appeared that way.

We did not have a picnic table at our site. (It does not appear that there are tables at any of the sites.) But there was plenty of room between rigs to park a vehicle -and- set up our own tables and chairs.

There is a shooting range near by. People and pets with issues hearing gun/rifle shots during the day should be aware, you -can- hear the shots being fired. It's not deafening, not loud at all, in our humble opinion. You just know there's shots being fired.

At the time of this review you can save even more money because they provide AAA and Good Sam discounts!

If you're looking for a nice, clean, FRIENDLY, resort with amazing prices, Pioneer RV Resort is the place!

-- WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN. --

(Our apologies for lack of more pictures, it was pouring rain during our stay. However, we will say that the pictures on their website are indeed representative of the resort, amenities, and cleanliness.)
