Campers can explore up to the KOFA National Wildlife Refuge boundary, where desert vegetation becomes denser with more saguaros visible. The road connects to Highway 95 at an unmarked turnoff near milepost 93, requiring careful attention for the quick left turn from northbound traffic. For those wanting established amenities, La Paz Valley RV Park offers full hookups six miles north.
Description
The Colorado River District is comprised of three field offices, the Kingman Field Office, the Yuma Field Office, and Lake Havasu Field Office. The district shares the same building with the Lake Havasu Field Office. All together they oversee the management of almost 5 million acres of public lands in western Arizona.
