Just within a stone's throw away are fishing, golfing, fine dining, and sugar white beaches for which Gulf Shores is famous.

Previously reported GPS coordinates are wrong. Actual GPS is 30.257637651389555,-87.72625972906198. This is down a sandy dirt dirt road on John Wood Lane. The owner Danny was very friendly, but corrected a few errors in the property description. He does not own 54 acres. The actual area for camping is about an acre surrounding his home and active workshop area. There are no designated sites and no hook-up of any kind. After an on-site review, we decided not to stay

Makers paradise!

Danny was a fantastic host, we got in later than expected which he accommodated and proceeded to show our daughter around his boats and property. He has a property that any macgyver could appreciate and a lot of cool plans for future rental areas. After speaking with him for a while he made it clear he doesn’t do this for the money but he really enjoys getting to know the people that stop in at his place. If you get the chance to stop and meet Danny I would take the opportunity.
