Dockside RV Resort features 450 feet of water frontage situated on Portersville Bay with direct access into the Gulf of America. Portersville Bay is known for its dramatic and colorful skies. Guests gather daily to watch the sun break across the water or melt into the horizon. It is often described as “better than Florida” — and it is pure Alabama magic. Enjoy beautiful sun rises and sun sets looking out at Dauphin Island - the sunset capital of Alabama!

We work with experienced local captains who offer inshore bay fishing, offshore Gulf fishing, dolphin & sightseeing tours, family adventures, & serious angler experiences. We’ll help you find the perfect captain for your trip.

Check out one of the monthly Birdwatching Tours guided by local coastal birders. Sign-up sheets are available at the office. Binocular rentals provided. Expect eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, migrating species, and more.

All RV sites provide ample room for you to get comfortably situated with your RV. Each Includes 30/50 AMP power, a smart meter with double 110 outlets, an individual water spigot, Bahama rock & grass (no pea gravel), level, clean setups, & are close to amenities and waterfront areas.

Dockside has a 300-Yard Private Signature Pier. That's three football fields long — one of the largest private piers in the region. It's perfect for fishing, strolling, relaxing, yoga, or soaking in the bay breeze. The Pier includes a fish-cleaning station, wide water views, and plenty of room for guests. Just standing on the bank of the water in front of the RV park allows our guests to catch a wide variety of fish species that swim in the waters of Portersville Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
