Grayland Beach State Park Campground

One of the prettiest state park campgrounds we’ve stayed in. Large paved sites, most all with fairly good privacy and foliage between sites and around sites. Very clean bathrooms. Attentive and friendly Park Rangers, but not overbearing in anyway. We stayed here in the winter and many of the sites were flooded with water or the very least very muddy. We need a campers playing hopscotch to different sites that were open trying to find higher dry locations. Pull through sites provided in the loop near us to the beach with the yurts otherwise, all other loops are back in. Several marked trails available to walk to the beach.

Welcoming, friendly host. Well thought out layout of camping spaces in rings to break up the crowds. Clean camp and bathrooms. Area has wide open sky for solar and Starlink connectivity. Poor cell signal at the campground. A broad beach that you can drive on. Snowy Plover nesting areas to avoid while doing so.

Paved level camping sites with and without hook-ups. Most sites are semi-private with acceptable separation. Good clean rest rooms and free showers. Shower was an acceptable warm temperature. Walking paths to beach were muddy at this time... but easy to just go out front gate and walk or drive to end of Cranberry road for easy access with parking and rest rooms at end of road. Free dump station near front gate. A nice quiet campground. Would stay again.

Have been coming here my whole since I was a kid. It’s one of my favorites and they got hit hard with the heavy rains. No wind but man it was muddy at our site

Sites were super clean and hidden away from your neighbors. All sites were close to restrooms and we didn't run into anyone on the beach. Would definitely go back.

This was a great place to get away for a few days! It’s close enough to both Seattle and Portland to make the drive fairly painless, and once we arrived, it was easy to set up in our stall. The full hookup sites were a great addition, and not having to worry about finding a separate dump station takes a lot of stress off our stay. The beach is beautiful, the weather was fairly nice, and the campground was chill. We also needed to get some work done, so it was nice having reception with T-Mobile to keep in touch while we were away. We look forward to having the opportunity to come back and visit more often!

The park was beautiful and well maintained, the facilities were clean, and you’re just far enough from the ocean that the ocean breeze isn’t overwhelming at the campsites. It’s also quite popular and while there is a decent amount of foliage to separate you from your neighbors, you can still hear and see them.

We, in the PNW are lucky that within a short drive there are so many options. This park is really nice. You can’t see the ocean from our spot but the sound is perfect. Westport is fun - shops, breweries and restaurants are all good for time away from the camp (if you want).

Great quiet park with friendly staff always there to help. Bathrooms and showers are clean but super cold in the fall season. Each site is laid out to be so private and filled with trees. Easy access to the beach and close to many tourist sites as well as many fabulous restaurants. Make sure to make a trek to Tokeland to the famous hotel for breakfast lunch or dinner

This is very well maintained state campground within walking distance of the beach. Very clean with all the amenities. Each loop is really quiet and shielded from the wind by the coastal forest.

Great location on an uncrowded beach. Simple, but great facilities. Clean and well organized. Lots of sand dollars.

We did a 2 night, full RV hookup site. Nicely maintained property with great beach access and lots of places to bike. Would definitely go back.

We go once a year and stay in a yurt. This is a family favorite. We love Yurt 62. It’s on a little cul-de-sac where the kids can ride their bikes and scooters around. There’s a trail to the beach and bathrooms very close. It is quiet and clean and you get cell service.

What a nice place! So quiet and such easy access to the beach. We were one of the few tents there; most people are in their RVs. Going to sleep with the sound of the ocean at night was priceless.

#89 W/50amp/no sewer. Large, paved, level, private campsites. Walk through the dunes to the beach to put your feet in the ocean.

Large fun Campground. The beach is large, and if you hit it at the right weather, very spectacular place

The camp ground was very nice with good sized Rv sites. The sites were pretty private

The bathroom was well maintained and clean. Good location and close to the ocean. We will be back again.

This is my favorite place to camp. Our kids loved going there and now our grandchildren love it. So much to do with a nice beach at the park. More beaches in Westport along with fishing and crabbing make the days go by so fast because of all the fun you are having. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

Grayland seems to be off the beaten path when it comes to state campgrounds, only 30 minutes outside of Aberdeen. The campground is very popular but worth it for the great beach. The beach is massive, clean, and very few people are out there. We always feel like we have the whole beach to ourselves to let the kids and dogs run! Just up the road is the small town of Westport if you feel the need to be social. Stop by Granny Hazel's for a sweet treat, then hit the marina for fresh prawns or crab!

Hidden gem on the coast! Just south of Westport is Grayland Beach State Park. Perfect spot to dig for razors or to just get away to the beach. Great tent and yurt sites, lots of water access, and trails in the area. Visit Westport for a few hours and enjoy the small beach town vibe.

Great for families and short getaway trips, rain or shine.

We stayed in site 108. The pad was surrounded by trees and felt really private. Protected from the wind. We were a few feet from a beach entry. Waking up our first morning it really loved up to it's name. Clouds and spotty showers left us wet but excited for the day! We were a 5 minute walk from beach. Night time left us listening to the waves breaking on the beach. Great site and we'll be back.

The vibe of this town and park reminds me of the coastal towns on the East Coast.  Excellent wildlife (especially birds) and endless beach and dunes to explore. The campsites are surrounded by short trees and are very close to the beach, with some having views of the water. There are some yurts to rent too! Bring kites, surfboards, kayaks, and binoculars.

Private campgrounds with a gorgeous beach. Couldn't have asked for a better place to camp with full hookups.

Been comin to this park for years. Absolutely love the place sights have always been clean, most sites have good privacy kindling and firewood is for sale at some of the sites. Yurts are available near the dunes. The dunes between the campground and the beach make for a nice walk and an awesome place to explore and for kids to play.

If you want an easy trip to the coast with some key amenities nearby and plenty if beach access, the Grayland will treat you well, if it doesn't rain. There's plenty of access to the beach when it's open to razor clamming or you can even give it a go at fishing for surf perch. Plus there always surfing and find relic shells.

You gave grate full meal deal with camping facilities including a shower to rinse off the salt. The walk in campsites are a good treat if you want a little privacy or have a big group during the offseason.

Grayland Beach State Park is made up of an older section, farther from the beach, and a newer section, up against the dunes. As campers leave, volunteers come through to pick up and rake each site. Sites are private and many have woodsy borders. Easy beach trails.
