Robertsville State Park Campground

We enjoyed the family site with another friend. It was good for a tent and 26 foot rv. Not a good big rig campground. It has tight turning and narrow roads. We took out kayak on the river for a float. Dirty water. Good hiking.

Secluded campsites. Even though they are close together, the dense trees isolate them visually from each other. We did have a neighbor with loud dogs that were very annoying

Plenty of space between spots. Not a lot of flat spots, though. Off-season pit toilet was available. Campground has shower house in-season. Nice and quiet. There was no host but a ranger came around.

Very well maintained. Everything looks new, works well, is clean and organized. Nicest thing is the park is quiet. No road noise which is wonderful. Winter stop for me so I have only seen the shower house from the outside but I would expect it to also be well maintained.

Not much to do here, it's just a place for me to camp 15 minutes from home. I has a nice loop trail behind the camp ground that goes down to the river.

Quiet small campground open during winter times

We have used this campground for three years. One of our favorites. Small and quiet. Lots of wildlife and flowers. Great support staff. We have camp hosted for the last two years.

This is a nice quiet campground but the lots are pretty uneven so make sure you bring plenty of cribbing.
The spaces are electric only, so if you are wanting full hookups you better look elsewhere. Also they have communist water so you don’t get to hookup to that all the time either. There is a nice shower house and bathroom so that worked great for our large family and they also have laundry machines!! I do wish they had a playground or some level place for the kids to play, but overall it was very nice and quiet.

We have camped at this park several times. My wife’s favorite. Very wooded small state park. 28 total sites all very shaded. Several basic sites some have wooden deck areas for tents easy to use dump and water. Mostly gravel pads and two cemented Ada accessible sites. Super staff and nice day use areas and boat ramp.

Hiking trails, a stocked pond, meramec river access, 12 basic and 13 electric shaded campsites available, play ground away from the campground and shelters available to rent for a family gathering. 2 trails available for easy hikes. Close to an area that has had peaceful black bear sightings.

My family and I always reserve the family site. Good cell service.

A beautiful place in the woods the host are so helpful the bath and shower houses are so clean along with the campsites and yes they have a coin laundry room on site which is also helpful . This is a great place for everyone young and old

I am loving my stay here at robertsville. The area is immaculately clean showers or private bathrooms are plentiful Flush toilets they also have a coin laundry. Campos are great. It's in the tall trees with lots of shade and greenery you kind of feel like you're in a jungle. Lots of things to do in the area. Great Verizon reception. I may not leave LOL. it is a little humid and a little buggy but I used some yard guard and I seem to be fine.

The showers house needs some help. But the camp sites felt secluded. The dump station was a little broke down and the camp hosts had two big dogs that never stopped barking.

Its right along the river

Robertsville is a nice little park on the Meramec River with about 25 campsites split fairly evenly between tent and electric hook up in a long loop. The hook up sites are on the inside of the loop and the tent sites are on the outside of the loop. You need to look carefully for a level tent site as some are fairly slopped. However, most of the tent sites have nice trees for hammocking and all sites looked clean. The shower house is newer and well taken care of. Seems that lots of people come here for the boat access to the river, but there are some really nice hiking trails you shouldn’t miss. On the weekends in the high season be prepared to reserve two nights in a row, which can make it more difficult to get a spot. But if you go during the week you can have the place pretty much to yourself. And the racoons. Just saying

We stayed 3 nights at the Robertsville State Park in June of 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The weather was beautiful, fresh at night and comfortable by day. Our campsite sat on a flat platform shadowed by trees and overlooking the forest and it was equipped with a picnic table, a grill, and a place to burn a fire. Aside from us only two other campsites were occupied so it was always serene day and night. The bathroom facilities were clean and equipped with a washer and dryer and vending machines. There's nothing better than a hot shower on a chilly morning! There's also a lake within a few minutes walking, although the current was too strong to swim we were told it's home to many large catfish.
