Reed Bingham State Park Campground

It’s a really beautiful place, very peaceful and quiet. I stopped for the night and the campgrounds are well maintained , very clean and there are some good shaded spots . Coming from Florida I found it a little bit expensive, I paid $53 dollars for a campsite but it’s a trade off based on the conditions the place is.

This is our second time staying here. The trails are amazing, great fishing, mini golf, and they even have a beach area. Pet friendly. Lots of friendly RV'ers here too.

We stayed here during Florida to/from Michigan trip. Spacious camp sites, clean bathrooms, full hookups, paved roads, gravel pads, nature trails, swimming beach, boating, fishing, playground, and miniature golf.

This campground is conveniently located near I-75. It's a nice stopover spot. Campsites are spacious. Setting is serene.

We stay here often on trips north & south on I-75. Full hookups. Huge level sites. Sand gnats in summer! Clean new bath houses. Nice network of roads for e-bikes! Staff (Shannon) is the BEST! Took lots of time with us to straighten out issues online with our Friends of State Parks pass, etc.

This is a really nice campground on a nice lake. Almost all the spots are pull-throughs, water, electric and sewer and cable TV as well. Bathhouse is nice, washers (1) was inop. It's a year round CG.

Would definitely stay again

Really liked this campground, I would return. Nice walking trails And you can also kayak down the river. Bathrooms are clean and kept up. I stayed in site 9 - it was a pull thru and very shady with a nice area in the back. Would choose that site again. Did put up the screen over the table as the gnats are fierce. Mosquitoes were there but not that bad

My family and I stayed here our first night with a camper without any camping experience. The facilities were great and hooking up was a breeze! I will be going back for a more extended stay but we just wanted to spend a night away with our new camper for this one.

Excellent site and park! They have mini golf, swimming g, boating, biking and hiking! So much to do. Extremely clean rest rooms, showers, and laundry.

Great little quiet clean place. Staff is very friendly.

We stayed here for just 1 night on the way back to Tennessee. Half of the campground was closed due to renovation. The other sites are almost all pull through sites, which is very nice of you have a bigger camper. Each site had a picnic table, firepit, water and electricity. The bathhouse and showers were very clean. Unfortunately we had no time to do any of the activities like hiking or kayaking. The lake looks very inviting for fishing or boating. We also saw several Gopher tortoise dens but unfortunately no tortoise. We would love to stop again and explore the park.

Stayed for one night and would have enjoyed several more. Good sized sites, nice trails and live oaks, a playground. Add 5 bucks to the cost of booking, because there is a 5 dollar park fee. Still reasonable, cheap actually for what you get. 8 to 10 minutes off of 75, but worth it for the quiet and beauty compared to roadside stops.

Great Rv location and trail

They have a boat ramp, lake and river for paddling. Plenty of walking trails with all sorts of natures. We saw some deer and a gopher tortoise on our walk. Apparently there's a swimming beach on the lake somewhere. Almost all the sites seem to be pull through which was very convenient. We used this place as just a relaxing place to crash on the way to our next destination. Would be a great place for a family reunion. Sites have FHU and fire pit and garbage hanger. Volleyball and baseball style field on premises as well as other pavilions and gathering spaces.

Wow! This park is awesome. Site 34, pull thru, FHU with gravel site. Site is very large. 50 amp. Camphost was excellent. Restrooms are so very clean, as is the entire park. Very well maintained. Picnic table, fire pit, and grill. We rode our bikes over the dam. Nice ride.

This campground is absolutely beautiful. Our site was very shady. Didn’t see much wildlife, but we did see a beautiful campground. Bathhouse was extremely clean. Tons of room on our site too.

We stayed two nights, site 33, as just a way break up a long drive to FD Roosevelt SP from Orlando. What a pleasant surprise, lots of nice hiking trails one that follows the Little River and then connects to other trails. If you go bring a kayak or canoe and fishing gear none of which we had with us this trip. Great restaurant "Catfish House" within walking distance of park entrance but you might as well drive as there's no alcohol served. Their sign says theyre only open Thurs.-Sat. We had...you guessed it, catfish. They have other food choices but ordering anything else would be like asking for ketchup for your steak, which they also offer.

Campground is quiet, it is located near minature golf and a lake.  All with in walking distances.  It is well taken care of, it does have a good bit of trails to walk.

We’ve stayed at Reed Bigham twice and have enjoyed it both times. It is a very large park on a reservoir that is divided by the Little River. There is a public beach and numerous shady picnic sites and shelters. We stayed in loop one which features water and electric while loop 2 has 50 amp full hookup sites. They also have a mini golf course. The campground is a gopher tortoise preserve and there are several nests in the campground Our site has a resident tortoise that has his burrow under one of the landscape timbers. The restrooms are clean but have seen a lot of use and need updating

Stayed here 2 nights in a pull through site (#5) and we were happy. The site didn’t have much shade but we used our awning and it was fine. The sites are fairly large. All have picnic table. Our site had water and 30amp electric but Loop 2 has full hookups.

The park has miniature golf, volley ball and hiking trails. Also there is a big lake if you have a boat. All in all it was a nice stay.

Snagged a last minute campsite at Reed Bingham for the 4th and loved it! Our loop had full hookups which was a wonderful bonus. Love the cable for evening wind down. The site was clean and backed up to the woods with huge oaks and plenty of shade. Plenty of space between sites so even though it was full, we had lots of privacy. We will be back!

What is so beautiful about this park? It was clean and tidy, even on the walking trail which were able to be traversed by all ages. Maybe the view of this huge lake, groomed beach area, and lovely oaks made this first visit a memorable one. Most spaces were under shade except for a few near the entrance of the loops, we had one and the weather was cool, so the warmth was welcomed. It will not be our last visit!

Quiet state park with full hookups, power & water and grassy tent sites. Gopher turtle reserve with great hiking trails. 2 shower houses, mini golf and canoe rentals on lake. Fishing with state license. Walmart, McDonalds, Burger king and sit-down resturants in town (about 7 miles).

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Spent 8 nights. This was one of the most unexpected pleasant surprise campgrounds we have stayed at. Great hiking (gorgeous boardwalks) and biking within the park as well as lake access. The most friendly camp hosts hands down in six months. Rangers/staff in the office were great. Nice laundry facilities and firewood. Overall just a fabulous almost neighborhood feel.

Wonderful State Park in southern Georgia! Chose our site from the pictures and it was perfect. Sites in lower loop one were spaced out and the back in sites were tucked into the woods, just the way we had hoped. Most sites are gravel and ours was well maintained and level, with a new large picnic table and fire pit with grill cover. The basic cable was a bonus! Restrooms were older but clean and well stocked. The upper loop 2 had a brand new bath house, and both had laundry facilities. The park itself has TONS of open green space! Great quiet weekend getaway.

Older State Park, but well maintained. Stayed 5 nights in site #7 with 30amp and water. The other loop had mostly FHU sites. Both loops contain mostly pull throughs, but we stayed in a back in. Sites are very spacious and close to a central bath house that was opened and well maintained. Lots of Forest hiking/biking trails available along with a nice size lake should you want to drown a worm or two. Explored Moultrie, Adel, and Tifton all of which are nearby.

This SP was recommended by full time campers and it is exactly like they described. A lot of pull through sites along with back ups. Sites are spacious and not right on top of each other. There is plently of tree trimmed shade. I will visit this park again.

Making our way from FL to OH, stopped here for the night. Huge pull through sites, quiet people, everything worked great. Would come again
