Description
Open BLM high-desert terrain near South Pass City Road in southwestern Wyoming shelters this spot at roughly 7,770 feet in open sagebrush country where wind can be relentless on the surrounding ridges. The pull-in is roomy enough for multiple vehicles or trailers and includes a fire ring, with the rocks providing welcome wind buffering. The access track is dirt and can turn soft and muddy in early spring, so high-clearance is wise outside of summer.
