Medicine Bow National Forest holds this dispersed site along East Fork Wagonhound Creek, managed by the US Forest Service with no developed amenities. The access road is rough enough to notice, though at least one camper has made it in with a 38-foot travel trailer after dark. Bring leveling blocks. Uneven ground is the main setup challenge here. Clear skies overhead make for strong stargazing conditions. Campers wanting developed alternatives can look at White Rock Canyon Dispersed Site roughly a quarter mile southeast, or browse campgrounds around Medicine Bow National Forest for a wider range of options.
