Paddlers and anglers have direct lake access from several of the sites at Perch Lake Trail and Campsites, a walk-in, hike-in, and boat-in campground set within places to camp around Nicolet National Forest. The south loop holds six sites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. Bears are present in the area, so food storage by hanging is necessary. No bear boxes are on-site. The hike in is short, and campers report the sites feel secluded despite the loop layout. Chipmunk Rapids is one of several campgrounds within a few miles if Perch Lake fills up or you want a drive-in alternative.
