Close to grocery store and parks. We hit Robinson Park and Bannon State Park. I was apprehensive after I found out that this was a big ATV campground. But was pleasantly surprised that everyone was very respectful and it was very quiet.
The campground was mostly empty for our stay but the ranger said it was filling up by the weekend for most of the summer. Our campsite stretches back into the woods giving us a place to set up our teardrop and still have plenty of room for a tent and screen room. We love the plentiful greenery…

Big rv site, beautiful woodsy area, clean showers and bathrooms, friendly staff
Review for Indian Point Campground This campground is owned and run by the City of Duluth; I shouldn’t have to say more, but I will. It could be a real jewel, but sadly it’s not. We ended up staying here 17 nights (!!) Because we had some business to do in town and there’s pretty much nowhere else…
City owned campground on a bay of Lake Superior. Should be nicer than this. Not very well maintained with few full hook ups. Have to use the showers because our site has only electricity. The showers have been newly remodeled but are poorly designed. Very small shower stalls with practically…
Just stopped for the night, but we will be back! Nice privacy and beautiful lakeside sites. We will reserve next time to get the perfect site. We were lucky to get a place on the spur of the moment. Edited to add: potable water was brown but clear.
This campground stretches along the forest road. The sites range in style but we found nicely wooded spots - perfect for keeping the dog’s eyes distracted from others passing by. Nearby are places to launch canoes. We also saw a rental company in town if you don’t have your own gear. A fish…
We chose this campground out of the three in the state park here for it's quiet and privacy. Site 210 (non electric) in Old Logging Trail was quite private and shaded, although we were not able to get our squaredrop camper or truck very far off the road due to placement of the gravel pad. Tenters…

Pulled over here for a quick stay. It is close to the freeway is about it. Not really what I would be looking for, for an extended stay. It was fine for an easy come and go. Facilities were clean.
Wanoka is a quiet campground just off the Hwy 2. It has a nice little trout pond and is a good place to teach the younger kids fishing skills. It is however not ideal for young ones who like to play as there is no playground.
This is a quiet campground in the middle of nowhere. The campground is intended to be used as campers that ride horses can stay at. People who camp in tents or small trailers will also enjoy this quiet place. There are many miles of trails that can be ridden on horseback. It is a very clean…
I spent the weekend at This camp ground and loved every moment. It was early April so quiet with only a only a couple others staying here. Hiking and Bike trails right there. Drove around the park and so much to see and experience! Highly recommend!!
This is my favorite campground for a getaway of a few days. It's less than an hour from home, with great treed sites, a river with tumbling waterfalls, and a covered bridge.
The sites are all non-electric. We plan to conserve the electricity so we can stretch the batteries with out using the…
We stayed during a busy summer season and it was beautiful. We hiked a number of trails to get to water falls that cooled us. Access was good but traffic and parking was busy depending on destination.
