Free dispersed camping along Forest Service Road 75, Brushy Ridge Road sits in Monongahela National Forest and consists of three large, unmarked sites with stone fire rings spaced roughly 100 feet apart. The road is in decent condition for drive-in access. Firewood is available at a nearby farmhouse on an honor system, $5 per bundle. The sites sit about 2.5 miles from the Bear Rocks trailhead, making this a practical base for hikers heading into Dolly Sods wilderness. Cell service is not confirmed. No fee, no reservation required.
