Secret beach

We got a reservation for the Labor Day weekend. Not a weekend we normally get out a camp, but cabin fever motivated a trip. Our site was moved from the original reservation which didn't work in our favor, given the proximity to the RV dump and bathrooms. Overall, the park is ok, but clearly a campground for boaters. Bright-side, we kayaked to a nearby beach which was wonderful and easily accessible.

I worked here for a few years and love this park

There's so much to say about this little park that I made a video guide for anyone interested in visiting to help them plan and make the best of their trip here. I personally prefer camping out in the boonies, but if I had to choose a nice state park with designated sites, this would definitely be it. It's family friendly, off grid as far as cell service goes, has amazing views, and lots to do in the area!

For some reason it seems to have cut/cropped all my pretty photos :( bummer

Off season tranquility

We went during the week and had the place almost to ourselves. The creek was roaring, so it made for great sleeping and the lilac trees were blooming, so it smelled like heaven. Such a great trip!

Perfect place for long weekend

This campground is perfect for a long weekend. My friends and I stayed there for five days. Unfortunately the water was little low than we expected.

Wonderful experience!

My first visit was Memorial day weekend in 2017. Dock for boats, fishing area is very limited. Swimming area is a bit sad but I think it's mainly for the little ones. Small store. Since we went late in the season, there weren't very many items left in stock. We decided that it will be a yearly thing. We stayed at what we think is the best spot on the grounds. Right next to the creek where all you hear is the creek running past you. It muffled the noise from our camp neighbors up above us which was really nice at night. If you want a nice hot shower, bring quarters. I think it's 7 minutes per quarter.

Very busy campground and day use area.

Small and crowded

Not the greatest campground, but ok overflow if you can't get into Lake Chelan State Park. Sites are very close together, it's nuts on the weekend, and the swimming area is a bit sad. Upsides include clean bathrooms and showers, nice dock, a small store, and it's right on Lake Chelan. Not a good value for the price though. Cost=$25-$35. Discovery Pass required, too. Reservable through Washington State Parks.
