A pull-off on a mountain road above Lake Chelan, this dispersed site sits high enough to provide open sightlines toward the lake below, with minimal light pollution after dark. The road in is windy with washboard sections near the base, though it smooths out higher up. No shade means direct sun exposure on warm days. Space fits one tent or a camper van; trailers and full RVs are not a practical match here. Campers interested in places to camp near Manson will also find Twentyfive Mile Creek WADNR Dispersed and other pull-offs dispersed along the same route. This site works best for self-sufficient solo campers or couples comfortable with a basic, exposed overnight stop.

Only 1 dispersed spot

Not a camp area per se. it is a pull off which is easy to miss that several people have used for camping and built a fire ring. There is only room for one tent or one camper van. Not trailer or full RV. Views are pretty but you can’t sit outside your tent or vehicle and see the lake. You have to walk to edge to see it. Had hoped to stay a few nights but not finding it worthwhile. Long way to go for one night and no tree shade from sun on a hot day. You just bake. Wouldn’t make a trip back.

Sitethere is only 1 place and coming up I drove past it wasn’t until I turned around to head back that I spotted the only place to camp would be bummer if you drove up and it was occupied no other spots close by

Excellent overlooking away from everything

Almost at the top of the mountain but not quite. Pretty good view of the lake below and almost no light pollution. Very windy road to get up but I pulled my trailer fine. Washboard road at the beginning but it gets better. Several places along the way, and beyond, to pull off to camp, at least a dozen, and they're quite dispersed from each other. Only saw one other person the entire time.
