Boat In Camping
Camped here last weekend. Loved it! Lots of boat parking with breakwater. Pit toilet was very clean. Unusually windy for August. Be sure to pack in your own water. Fun view from our site of some rock cliff jumping. We arrived Thursday night and there was plenty of space. By Sunday sites were all full.
rustic. boat-in only
this boat-in only campground has a nice log picnic shelter w two large tables & fireplace.
the restrooms are a short walk; spare, but usually quite clean.
nice dock facility, but secure your bumpers well due to passing boat wakes.
Favorite campsite on Lake Chelan
One of the many awesome boat up National Forest Service campgrounds along Lake Chelan. Gorgeous lake front spots, with firepits, picnic tables, and pit toilets. Creek is near the campground. Bring a water purifying device. Huge dock for many power boats, but also easy access beach for kayaking. Large picnic pavilion perfect for large groups or family reunions. Cost=Free! No permit required for kayaks, but annual dock permit is required for tying larger boats up to the dock.
