New review 2024

Great campground, enjoyed the quiet time. I must state that this is not a kid friendly campground. Also, take note, on this site The Dyrt, the price is advertised as 45 dollars a night. Last year when we came that is the price we got. I booked in November of last year for May of this year and was charged 75 dollars a night. When I finally got someone on the phone in April, I asked about the pricing as was told that I should have been charged 65 dollars a night, due to the fact our site is one of the most popular one. All good and well, but only other campers there were seasonal campers. So, I felt a bit high for opening week. Other than that, great staff, clean facilities. It's a nice place to get away.

Great Campsite

Very nice, clean campsite. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Campsites are spread out, great dog walking areas , and very spacious dog parks, one for big dos and one for little ones.

Beautiful campground among rolling hills of Vermont

Although many of the sites here are set up to accommodate large RVs and other trailers, there are also more secluded sites up the hill with trees. This campground has more of a resort feel, with a small pond for swimming, basketball, volleyball, etc. This is a terrific place to enjoy the dark sky and fall foiliage. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable.

I chose to stay here while I was finishing up the VT 4000-footers because it was midway between the trails for Mt Ellen/Abram and Killington.

One note of interest: this campground requires RVs to have an RVIA certificate; that excludes different homemade campers and school-bus conversions.
