Camp Butz: Adventure VT Camping

Escape to 10 private acres of Vermont forest at the end of a gravel drive. Your 20' white bell tent sits on a hand-built platform in a half-acre clearing surrounded by untouched woods. Inside, unwind with cozy seating; outside, gather around the fire pit or relax in Adirondack chairs as the sun rises or stars emerge. Wake to birdsong, explore Vermont's scenic roads and trails, then return to your secluded camp. This is rustic glamping - expect forest terrain with rocks, roots, and nature's authentic sounds (woodpeckers included!). Perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers seeking to disconnect and recharge in true wilderness.

This isn't ordinary camping - it's thoughtfully curated glamping that honors both comfort and wilderness authenticity. The fire ring serves as your kitchen, entertainment center, and meditation space for cooking meals, sharing stories, and listening to flames crackle. Camp Butz challenges you to disconnect from digital distractions under dark skies where the Milky Way stretches overhead. Our family camp remains a work in progress with thoughtful improvements planned while preserving its wild character. Feedback is welcome and encouraged as we refine this authentic Vermont experience. Major updates coming in 2026.

What's provided: the 20' bell tent on a hand-built platform with a king bed and two twin beds, Adirondack chairs, a fire ring with one firewood bundle included ($10 per extra bundle), a composting toilet, a hot shower, potable filtered tap water, a picnic table, and wifi.

What to bring: sleeping bags or your preferred bedding, food, headlamps, and layers.

Good to know: drive-in access via a gravel road, standard clearance vehicles recommended. Up to 12 guests and 4 vehicles. Vehicles under 16 feet only - there is a tight turn on the driveway, so large RVs and trailers are not suggested, and you will likely back down the drive. Pets are welcome on or off leash. Pack it in, pack it out.
