The setting couldn't be more perfect, with 24 cute tents nestled in a peaceful cove in Hildale, Utah. Surrounded by the Canaan Mountain Wilderness, giving guests the best outdoor setting and ultimate privacy.

This fascinating experience is much more than a nice tent and a comfortable mattress. The campsite offers family-friendly excursions including side by side tours, guided hikes, horse trail rides, biking and others.

Amazing!

Our host greeted us right away when we showed up and was even able to accommodate our request to have our reservations together. Full bathrooms, warm showers, cooking supplies, wifi, coffee, firewood- basically everything was provided besides food.

The view here at night is AMAZING. There's barely any light pollution here so it was a stargazers dream. The owner was actually really nice as well. Will be back here next time we come to Utah!!

Beautiful but remote

About an hour's drive from Zion, this gem allows you to see the full specter of nature's beauty. The stars at night at this place were simply unspeakably amazing. That alone made it worth the drive.

On the more practical side: the tent had good mattresses, nice campfire, the host brought a fresh container of water daily. Port-a-potties for toilets & a solar shower. We brought food with us, as there aren't really any stores or restaurants nearby.

If you go canyoneering with Red River Adventures in Springdale, they might just bring you right back to Water Canyon for your excursion.
