A quiet place

Our site was right by the entrance and near a stream bed that was dry. It was incredibly quiet, silent even, at night. Gorgeous but a little chilly.

Convenient and lovely

I came to hike Timp and stayed for a couple nights just as they were closing and this was the perfect spot under a mile from the trailhead. They were closing a few loops after Labor Day for the season and there was a lot of ATV traffic at night on the road, but overall it was a great place to relax…

One of my favorite camping sites. See all the stars at night
