The Riverside Ranch

Anglers and families find multiple activities at The Riverside Ranch, an established campground in Hatch that accommodates RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups. The property sits alongside the Sevier River, where campers can fish for trout despite the creek's modest size. Laura F. notes that "even though the creek was small there were some BIG trout."

Gravel sites provide level parking throughout most of the campground, with river rock patios adding texture to the camping areas. Riverfront sites back directly up to the water and command premium rates, while interior sites offer full hookups including sewer connections. The property includes recreational amenities like basketball courts, tetherball, cornhole, and swings for active campers. Wind can be persistent enough that some visitors keep awnings retracted during their entire stay.

The campground operates year-round and sits 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park, making it a staging point for campgrounds near Panguitch and regional park visits. AT&T and T-Mobile provide cell coverage. Clean restrooms and showers serve all sites, though only full-hookup sites away from the river include individual sewer connections. Staff assistance extends to accepting deliveries for guests during their stay.

Campers regularly cited friendly staff, clean facilities, and level sites with good hookups. The riverside location offers fishing and mountain views about 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon. Wind conditions may require awning precautions.

Open range views

Good over night or base camp for Zion/Bryce National Parks. Friendly staff. With a simple mostly burger restaurant (Red Dirt Cafe). Clean restrooms/showers. We spent three nights in the open style parking with sewer/water/electric area. But it does have sites along the small river. Usually when we arrived back in the park. There was not an attendant at the check in station. And on our first night...had to call to get checked in. We were on site 4. Spacious sites. The biggest concern was the daily winds at 20 to 25 mph winds. Which one camper said is somewhat normal. The WiFi was pretty much worthless at our site. But all in all...would recommend this park for easy access to national parks and right on 89 hwy. And really didn't have the hwy noise because of the ridge between hwy and camp site.

Great Location for National Parks

Very good park in the small town of Hatch, Utah. Clean quiet park with full hookups and all the necessities. Bathrooms and showers were good and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Recreational stuff at the park was good although we were gone during the day visiting local national parks. Can be very windy at times so awnings stayed in the whole stay(4 nights). Pretty level sites on gravel. Perfect location to do Bryce Canyon(45 min) and Zion(90 min to East entrance) We camped at The Riverside Ranch in a Motorhome.

Fantastic Friendly Campground

The Riverside Ranch is truly a one in a million place where not only is it a great place to camp, but you are treated like family from the time you check in until the time you pull out.  Joel and Nicole are the campground managers and you simply couldn't ask for better people. They love the property and go above and beyond to accommodate everyone that comes through. We had a couple of deliveries and they brought them right to our site. We selected riverfront site #12 and it was amazing. Backed right up to the Sevier river with amazing views of the mountains. And to make things even better, at night it felt like you could see a million stars above. Only 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon and 10 minutes from Red Canyon. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Great place to stay to visit Bryce Canyon

Extremely friendly, funny check in personnel! Gravel throughout the side of the park we stayed in. Nice river rock for a patio area feel. Some grassy area for the pups to do their business. Unshaded. There are a lot of activities for the kids or active adults(basketball, teether ball, corn hole, and swings). We were in site B-18 with FHU. Level. AT&T, TMobile Cell service.

About a 30 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. A must do if you have time to go. Also, have dinner at The Outlaw Saloon a mile up the road! Amazing, amazing, amazing steak! And I am very particular how my steak is cooked!

Nice and Quiet

When looking to book a campground near Bryce this was ranked pretty high and about 30 minutes away from the park and about 1.5 hours from Zion. Wanting to stay closer to Bryce and now knowing the lay of the land I would have stayed at the Ruby Inn RV Park right outside of Bryce. However, this place was great. You can opt for a riverside site (worth the extra $) and still have hookups to fresh water and 30 amp. Fishing in this little creek was great. Even though the creek was small there were some BIG trout! Super clean and quiet in this vast valley with beautiful sunsets. Free showers and flush toilets were clean. No communal dump station. Sites off the river with full hookups were the only ones with a dump. Great deli inside the market across from the checkin.
