This free dispersed campground on BLM land requires four-wheel drive to navigate sandy access roads. Sand Springs Overnight Campground provides fire rings and accommodates big rigs, though campers report concerns about getting stuck in soft sand conditions. The area features both forested sections and open terrain with hiking trails to explore.
No cell service reaches this remote location, and pets are not permitted. OHV and ATV activity occurs during daytime hours on surrounding trails. For campers wanting developed facilities, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park Campground offers a different experience nearby.
