Small but nestled in nature

What a find. This is first come first serve. Pit toilets, water and a host. The sites are secluded. The east side of the campground has incredible pull through sites. I took a photo of a couple of the best. There is parking down there for the few walk in sites. The sites are a one minute walk, tiny…

Great side of the road spot to camp

Very large areas with tables and shade no hookups but it had vault toilets and a small fishing pond. Trails were mapped out with a history lesson on the information board. No fees which is nice but still it’s very clean.

  • site by the road huge!
  • book like instructions about animals and fauna of the area
  • pond in the center bathrooms and garbage dumpster

Quiet and pleasant

I enjoyed several nights at this beautiful campground located between a creek and the gravel road to a trailhead. Campsites are widely spaced among the pine trees. The bathrooms are clean and there is water throughout. This is the only campground in Great Basin NP that allows drop ins. It's at…

Super nice campground

I was going to try out a BLM spot closer to Great Basin but it didn't work out. Luckily this campground was only 20 min away and honestly, in far better shape. I rolled in, very exhausted, at 11pm. I quickly checked out the rules and map at the entrance and easily found a spot to back into. The…

Reservations only

We saw the sign says full, talked to the host who told us Baker’s Creek was first come first serve. The two Lehman Creek campgrounds are reservations only. No overflow rarely a vacancy. We got one of the last sites in Baker Creek.

Closed for the summer 2021

We drove up right away to get a good site but found the campground entirely closed.

Dispersed dry camping

Nicely dispersed campsites tho dusty. No reservation campground with fire outs and picnic tables. Sites can accommodate RVs but not very level. Accessible via dirt road.

Pretty good spot, much better than the super dusty BLM option we had to use one night.

Beautiful and secluded

This campground was beautiful with tall trees and massive views of the mountains at the same time. Love how secluded it was from other campgrounds and the visitor center and just in general.

Feels like a Disney movie

We LOVED this campsite! there’s a stream, tons of little animals to see, and the spots are pretty private. Well maintained bathrooms. Make sure you visit during a new moon to see the stars.

Isolated

Did the late night arrival thing and woke up to a superb sunrise!! Stars were out in full force when we arrived. We took the road in up to the top at night and didn’t realize how much we climbed until we dropped back down the road in the morning. All in all cool place and would go again with more…

Clean and adequate but uninspiring

I would add a half star if I could; if you like funky, then maybe 4 stars. This is a typical parking-lot style RV park sprinkled with elm trees. Very convenient to Great Basin visitor center and national park, which offers great hiking and views. RV park surface was a mix of dust and gravel.…

Convenient well-kept BLM campground near Great Basin Park

Although it is not immediately evident at the entrance, there are two camping areas here.  One circle of 8 or 9(?) sites which surround a little pond nearer to the highway, and then second set of    5 or 6 campsites perhaps a half-mile away past an open gate.    I was travelling solo, just had a…
