## Overview

South Fork Campground is located on the banks of the South Fork Ogden River at an elevation of 5,200 feet, just 7 miles from Huntsville, Utah. Campers love the park for its great river access. Tubing and fishing are very popular activities.

Campers enjoy fishing and tubing on the South Fork. Several hiking and mountain biking trails begin in the area.

## Facilities

The campground contains several single and double-family sites with picnic tables, campfire rings, utility tables and cement site pads. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. 

## Natural Features

This scenic campground is situated among cottonwoods and willow. Moose and deer wander through the campground on occasion. The South Fork runs alongside the campground. 

## Nearby Attractions

Beautiful Ogden Valley has numerous boating, fishing, hiking, horseback and off-road vehicle riding and scenic driving opportunities. Pineview Reservoir is a short drive from the campground with boating, fishing and swimming.   
  
Causey Reservoir is close by, offering great canoeing and fishing, as well as hiking, biking and horseback riding trails.  
  
Highway 39 continues on to Monte Cristo Summit with sweeping mountain views. ATV and hiking trails are abundant in the area.

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.
  * Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  * You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival.
  * Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply.
  * Cabins / Lookouts: Customers will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the first night's use fee if a cabin or lookout reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Day Use Area: If a customer cancels a group day use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge.



**No-Shows**

  * Camping / Day Use: A camping no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day-use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date.
  * If a customer does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under "Late Cancellations" above, the customer may be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit use fees.

  * Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card.

Anderson Cove Campground is a popular facility located 10 miles east of Ogden, Utah, on the banks of Pineview Reservoir in scenic Ogden Valley. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and pineview resevoir camping. Recreation Campers come to Anderson Cove for picnicking, fishing, swimming and boating. Pineview Reservoir offers excellent water skiing opportunities. Kayaking and canoeing are popular on the reservoir's quieter coves. A boat ramp, swimming beach, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are located within the campground. Its open meadows and manicured lawns are lined with a variety of shade trees. Temperatures are warm during the day. Nearby Attractions Ogden River Scenic Byway, this beautiful byway, beginning at the mouth of Ogden Canyon winds through 44 miles of Utah's most beautiful mountains and countryside. Rock walls and tree-covered mountain sides line the roadway that follows the Ogden River to Pineview Dam. Small islands dot the man-made reservoir and surrounding fields are either shades of green or snow-white. Anderson Cove (uinta-wasatch-cache National Forest, Ut)

This small campground is located about six miles east of Huntsville, Utah on a curve along the South Fork of the Ogden River. A host is not on-site but can be found at Magpie Campground (west) or South Fork Campground (east). It has been a popular camping spot since the pioneers came to Utah. Although the trees are not thick, they are big and very old. Popular local recreation activities include fishing, hiking, swimming, and tubing down the South Fork Ogden River (a life jacket is required for all tubers). North Fork Park is a 2600-acre camping and outdoor gem located in Liberty, Utah on the eastern side of the Wasatch Mountain Range. North Fork County Park

## Overview

Box Elder Campground

The Ruby Resort

## Overview

Port Ramp Marina is a boat slip rental facility located just 10 miles from Ogden, Utah, on the west side of Pineview Reservoir in scenic Ogden Valley. The marina is the most used launching facility at Pineview, which is the busiest reservoir in the state. 

#### Natural Features:

Pineview Reservoir lies on the backside of the Wasatch Front. Ogden Valley is comprised of patchwork farmland surrounded by beautiful peaks.

#### Recreation:

Boating, fishing, swimming and water skiing are popular activities on Pineview Reservoir.

#### Facilities:

The marina rents boat slips for the entire season, from mid-May through September. The facility has a concrete boat ramp and a large paved parking lot with a designated area for slip holders. An adjacent gravel lot is used for overflow parking and dry storage.  
  
Dry storage can be purchased for a day, month or season. A public dock is on-site. A dump station and vault toilets are located in the paved parking lot.

Anderson Cove Campground is located 5 miles away on the south shore of Pineview Reservoir. It offers both family and group campsites and a swimming beach.

Port Ramp Marina

This campground is located on the far side of the river from Highway 39. The entrance is the same as Upper Meadows, but instead of turning left, stay on the road, cross the bridge and turn to the right at the top of the hill. This campground is one of the most spacious with the individual sites quite far apart. The grass is usually tall and thick. This campground has firewood available to purchase from the on-site Campground Host. Popular local recreation activities include fishing, hiking, swimming and tubing down the South Fork Ogden River (a life jacket is required for all tubers). Causey Reservoir, a scenic mountain lake, is four miles east.

Lower Meadows Campground

Weber Memorial Park is 86 acres seated adjacent to Causey Reservoir outside of Huntsville, Utah, and nestled on the South Fork Ogden River. Causey Reservoir is located in steep, forested, valley terrain and extends into three amazing slot canyons perfect for fishing, swimming, and cliff diving. Our camping park is a great location for individual or group camping which includes a recently renovated historic lodge perfect for your family reunion, weddings, and board retreats.
