Description
The Thorpe Flats basin in Utah's West Desert opens up around the 5 Mile Pass area, where BLM land off Faust Road serves as a loose staging ground for OHV riders and overnighters alike. The parking area includes a pit toilet and sits just steps from the 5 Mile Pass Loop Trailhead, with room for large rigs. Nights here are quiet save for the occasional off-road machine, and cell signal is workable.
