Seven Mile Pass

The winding access road challenges drivers with its narrow, twisting route through Utah's west desert terrain. Seven Mile Pass operates as a dispersed camping area on Bureau of Land Management property, where campers can set up anywhere within the designated zone without fees or reservations. Connor O. notes the area lacks services and water, describing it as "not particularly scenic" but popular with ATV riders and shooting enthusiasts.

The open landscape provides no natural shade, making preparation essential during warmer months. Wildlife sightings add interest to the remote setting, though the deeper sections see fewer visitors than areas closer to the main access point. Cell service reaches the area, and both pets and alcohol are permitted. The terrain attracts motorcycle and off-road vehicle users, creating a multi-use recreation environment rather than a quiet retreat.

Visitors commonly noted the lack of services, shade, and scenic views, with challenging access roads. Several guests observed decent overnight camping opportunities if you venture deeper into the area.

Just not worth it

The path is difficult to drive, it's really windy, and easy to get lost. There isn't much to do there either. Overall 2/5 the extra star is for the level of wildlife there

Tons of dispersed camping

This is a large area in the west desert available for disperse camping. No services and no water, and not particularly scenic. It's fun to ride ATVs and go shooting. There is no shade so be prepared.

Easy to find almost anything

I taught my boys to ride motorcycles here. It's not spectacular and heavily used by the ATV crowd but you can easily find a decent place for an overnight. The deeper you go, the fewer the people.
