Lovely and quiet! Spacious! (Rare train but it does not bother me.) Picturesque lake surrounded by pine trees! So lovely! So glorious!
Amazing views! Glorious! Quiet! No road noise!
However, we remained in our RV most of the time as the flying insects (larger than mosquitos, but not sure what they are) were MANY! (It is right by the lake!)
It is glorious here though! Perfect temps in May! Incredible views! So grateful! Amen.
Quiet! Can see the traffic on the interstate, but we hear NOTHING! So glorious! Lovely views! We enjoyed a wonderful stay! (We are parked 39 feet from the road going up the mountain, RW Ranch Road, but rare are the vehicles on it!)
Quiet! Many others, but SO much land, they were quite far from us! Lovely and cool in May! Praise Yahweh!
Far enough from the interstate, no noise! (No earplugs needed at night!)
Incredible long-term price for electric (MUCH needed for a few days during unusually hot temps), hot showers (for free we found!), and the manager said we can have packages delivered (this is the MAIN REASON we came, as we travel much)!
Yes, we could hear the hum of the highway, but I’ve learned to block it out! Praise Yahweh!
Peaceful and quiet place to stay! We love it! Awoke to hot air balloons on the horizon! Great walks! Lovely and remote!
We drove in late at night and could not see too well, but parked and slept soundly. Awoke to WONDERFUL hot air balloons, cactus and mountains… after sunrise! What a sight!
We returned for a longer stay! Lovely and quiet! (We drove further from the road, and parked in daylight this time!)
Such kindhearted owners, allowed me to mail a few packages I needed on my journey! Bless them! Great place for our needed laundry and electric hook-ups (for vacuuming and fresh veg shake blending) on our journey of mostly off-grid life right now!
Plus… they also have a dump for those who do not stay overnights also!
Spacious galore! Wonderful! Easy to find, and can park right off the road if desired! Lovely cactus… all around! What a blessing!
It is a 2 mile drive on gravel to get to this place… however if QUIET is what you are looking for, it is WELL worth the drive! We drove our 2003 Itasca (34’ long) motorhome here, and found a PERFECT flat spoke on the first left “road” after crossing the cattle guards into this dispersed land!
We see cars and trucks on the road FAR away… but HEAR NONE of them!
Wonderfully quiet! Beautiful sunrises… views… and sunsets! What a blessing! Praise Yahweh (God)!
Road in has a few holes (see pictures we took) but easy to get “through”… absolutely wonderful park! Quiet (in October) and we saw much wildlife! Deer! Egrets! So lovely… and far from the road (so no noise)!
Lovely wildlife to watch… egrets, herons, etc. Nice and flat parking, covered picnic tables, hardly anyone here in October!!! Easy to find with the Google coordinates! This is the 2nd time being here this month! (We see many others fishing… and I’ve seen large fish jumping 3/4 out of the lake!)
Quiet and lovely! Very easy to find with the Google Coordinates given 31.550811, -96.961614 Beautiful lake to relax by!
