Little Bear Group

Where the Manti-La Sal National Forest meets open terrain along a flowing creek, Little Bear Group accommodates up to 50 people across spacious sites that also work well for individual families. The Forest Service facility operates from mid-May through October with drive-in access for RVs up to 35 feet.

Road noise from nearby traffic carries into the campground throughout the night, though the adjacent creek provides natural ambient sound. Cell service does not reach the area, but the open sky allows satellite internet connections to function reliably. Campers can fish in the flowing water and enjoy campfires at this pet-friendly location. Lower Little Bear Campground sits just southeast for those preferring a more traditional campground layout.

Great group camping location

A little closer to the road. We could hear vehicles on the road occasionally throughout the night. There was no cell service but a decent view of the sky allowed for a good connection with starlink. Nice flowing river nearby for great ambient noise. Group sites for up to 50 people but great for a single family also. Highly recommend.
