Useful but not ideal

About 13 of us stayed here to camp before a day on Bear Lake. This site has close proximity to Bear Lake and Garden City. It does require driving on a dirt road so a car with decent ground clearance is best. There are numerous boondocks sites available so the one we got doesn’t describe all other sites. But ours wasn’t the best. It was cool being surrounded by trees in a little ravine off the road, but it wasn’t level, had cow patties everywhere, and tons of flies. It was free, so can’t complain about that.

The campground provides basic campsites suitable for tent camping and possibly small RVs. Visitors should plan to bring all necessary supplies including water, as well as pack out all trash. The natural setting compensates for the lack of amenities, making it appealing for those seeking a more primitive camping experience.

Where is Lodge Campground located in Logan Canyon, Utah?
