Free and first-come, Lampstand Road Dispersed sits on BLM land managed by the Kanab Field Office, with campsites scattered along an initial loop close to the road and additional spots with fire rings further along Lampstand Road toward the red cliffs. Firewood is reportedly plentiful on-site. RVs are limited to 15 feet, and the road extends far enough that campers willing to drive deeper, roughly 45 minutes along the route, can reach open sites with 360-degree sightlines taking in red rock cliffs and the Grand Staircase toward campgrounds around Boulder. The BLM Dispersed near Burr Trail Road is a nearby alternative about 1.9 miles southwest. No hookups, no fees. Best suited to self-sufficient campers comfortable with dispersed conditions.
