Juniper Campground - Sand Flats Recreation Area

Camped at Juniper Loop.? Nice site for tent (other pad) or RV . No facilities-only open air pit toilet. 20 minute drive in rough washboard gravel road. If certain you wish to camp here, pay the fee and drive out to pick your site to avoid having to drive all the way back Fee covers any available site.

We were able to escape the Moab heat and camp in our 20ft van here! Perfect place for peace and quiet in the desert. There are some dirt bikers that might drive by but we saw few. Paid $20 to get into the park. There is one outdoor toilet. Traveled up an unpaved but it was very manageable in our van.
