Dixie National Park at Panguitch FR1048

Three dispersed camping spots sit along Forest Road 1048, providing drive-in access to the Sevier River for anglers. The sites occupy reasonably flat ground with existing fire rings, though current fire restrictions may apply. Vehicle access works for smaller rigs, but the road conditions rule out big rigs and trailers.

Campers walk downhill from the sites to reach the river for fishing access. The area maintains clean conditions despite its dispersed nature. For additional overnight options, campgrounds near Panguitch provide alternatives with varying amenities and access requirements.

Small, quiet, no services, perfect.

A good spot if you want to fish the Sevier River. Just walk down the hill. Three spots for camping. Easy to drive in. Not for big rigs or trailers, though. Clean and reasonably flat. Fire rings but not sure fires are allowed.
