Within East Fork Little Bear State Wildlife Area, this dispersed camping location operates under Utah State Department of Wildlife Resources management. Recent visitor reports indicate camping restrictions have been implemented throughout the wildlife management area due to site degradation, with traditional dispersed camping along La Plata Road no longer permitted.
A few potential sites may exist just outside the WMA boundary on La Plata Road, where campers have reported finding old fire rings and evidence of recent use. The area allows campfires and pets, with cell service available. Access requires driving La Plata Road toward Porcupine Reservoir. Campgrounds around Paradise provide established alternatives for the region.
