Bear Valley RV and Campground

Gravel sites spread across an open lot at this highway junction campground, where mountains and farm fields form the backdrop. Bear Valley RV and Campground sits at the intersection of highways 20 and 89, about 10 minutes north of Panguitch, offering full hookups for RVs up to 50 feet alongside tent sites and rental cabins.

The campground operates an on-site gas station and convenience store, plus maintains extensive laundry facilities with multiple washers and dryers. Reviewers consistently highlight the cleanliness of restrooms and shower facilities. Samantha H. notes the property includes a "fenced in dog area" along with the main camping areas. Sites lack shade trees but provide level ground with easy access for larger rigs.

WiFi reaches most sites, though streaming works best on lower quality settings according to camper reports. The location serves as a base for exploring multiple national parks, with Bryce Canyon about 40 minutes away and Zion roughly an hour's drive. ATV trails extend directly from the campground property. Staff receives frequent praise for helpfulness, and the facility includes a playground and game room for families.

The combination of highway access, full services, and proximity to southern Utah's park system makes this campground work well for RV travelers seeking convenient staging for multi-park itineraries.

Campers regularly cited the spacious, level sites and exceptionally clean facilities as standout features. Many mentioned the friendly staff and convenient on-site store. The main concern noted was lack of shade.

Wonderful campground !!!

We were driving past and saw this quaint campground. We have a big 40’ rig so we are always Leary of site unseen locations. We saw that the area was very open and well maintained. We decided to pull in. The staff was amazing and the store was soooo cute! We booked a night and now decided to extend. HIGHLY recommend!!

Awesome spot

Beautiful area. Surround by mountains and farm fields. Beautiful gravel lot with rv spots, tent spots and cute little cabins. Showers, laundry, bathrooms, and fenced in dog area. Gas station/gift shop right at the camp ground. Staff and owners were super friendly. Feels like your out in the middle of no where (which you kind of are lol), but about 10 minutes south down hwy 89 is Panguitch, and that town seemed to have a little bit of everything. Bryce Canyon National park was about 40 mins away. Zion National Park was a little over an hour. Ceader Breaks National Monument was around those same times to. And many other things to do around the area.

Great Spot

We stopped here on our way up the Yellowstone. Fuller hookups. Level ground. Easy access and only 20 min to catch the Interstate. Great gift shop that also has a small grocery or last minute items. Very clean bathroom, showers and laundry.

Awesome

This camp ground was easily the nicest and most well taken care of on our camping trip! The cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a camp ground! Staff was super helpful and friendly!

Best RV Park In Southern Utah

This is one of the best RV parks in Southern Utah. It is about 10 minutes from Panguitch, They have a gas station with a snack store plus miscellaneous items, a game room, LOTS of washers and dryers and much more. If you are a person who hates crappy bathrooms, I have stayed here every summer for the past 3 years and I have not found not 1 bug or critter and they don’t smell either. The lot sizes are HUGE! You can stream videos on low quality with the WiFi. There is a playground, and the Staff is the nicest I’ve ever met. Please stay here, they deserve it!

Best for RVs, good place to refuel

On the junction of 20 and 89 near Bryce Canyon this RV park is quite large and hosts a gas station and a fairly large convenience store. There are also little wagons, a teepee and and small frontier cabin you can rent if you dont have an RV. Firewood is available for purchase but there is no shade at all!
