Free Dry Parking

Free, clean, nice place to stop over and sleep for a night. I wouldn’t call it “camping,” it’s a parking lot. Right behind the Casino, so plenty of places to eat. Hot this time of year, but if you’re self contained, I imagine it’s a really nice place to stay for a few days during a cooler time of year.

Very clean and almost level

I stayed here three nights while visiting the redwood Forest and I went to the casino one night. It's very clean you can't hear the highway noise at night. There is a chance that a medevac helicopter comes in. It did while I was here.

Perfect overnight spot off I-5

Right off I-5 in Canyonville, Or between Grants Pass and Roseburg. Great RV/Trailer parking lot for dry camping to rest up for another day of driving. Pulled in at 8pm on a Wednesday in October with plenty of spots available.

Would have stayed longer

Free parking lot. Five day limit. Would have stayed longer but couldn't keep our batteries charged. Friendly folks on the casino shuttle service. We don't gamble, so just chatted with social distance.

Quiet and plenty of space

The place is very quiet. We pulled in at 10pm and couldn't find the Dry camping spot. We did find 10+ rvs parked in the rv parking lot with slides out and even awnings. Makes for a great stop after running from wildfires.

Dry camping at Seven Feathers is a nice change from most places. Leveling is minimal, generator use is between 7 am - 10 pm. There is shuttle service that will take you to the truck stop, rv park, casino, to semi overflow lot or even to a local restaurant. BK is a block away if you prefer that. There is a 5 night max stay. And if all you want is a quick stop there is a Rest Area on the hill overlooking the valley with a 12 hour max stay. There are two private restrooms also. If you have a dog there is a fenced in pet area for off leash but it is rocky. The Dry Lot Area has 50 RV lanes and a very nice doggy area with a bench to sit on while the pet enjoys some grass time

Guess I got it all in the title. I will add that I was woke by someone going through the trash can at 10:30 one night looking for recycle. I won’t park near a trash can again. There is also a semi overflow area behind the truck stop. I went up there after a couple of questionable persons were hanging around the Dry Lot. The manager of the truck stop came over and told me that RVs were not supposed to park there but that there was a $10 charge to park for dropped trailers. How I qualify for that in a Class C with no towed I don’t know. But paid the charge as at least I would get some shade in the afternoon from the 103 deg on this day. But FYI... do NOT park in the overflow lot on a Tuesday or a Wednesday night. The gas station Lot fills up with semis, the overflow lot fills up and the Rest Area fills up! It was like a semi truck convention. I asked a driver why it was so bad on those two nights and he said those two nights the truckers haul a load north or south and drop it and then pick up a load and head back the next day and this is their stopover. So plan accordingly folks. 😀😀

Nice, Free Casino Boondocking for RVs

Seven Feathers Casino, not too south of Roseburg Oregon, has two nice options for RVs near their casino. First is the "RV Resort" which has an indoor pool, very nice pull-through sports, etc. and will run you around $100/night.

Or, you can follow signs to the "dry" RV camping just on the east side of the casino. As far as free casino spots go, this is a pretty nice one. No construction, not too bad for highway noise all things considered. There's even a large green grassy area if you want to get out and stretch your legs.

It's for self-contained RVs only, so make sure you have water, bathrooms etc., though you can also eat dinner or what-have-you at the casino. Maximum of five days stay. Generators are prohibited 10pm-7am, which helps keep the noise down.

How much does it cost to stay at Seven Feathers RV Resort?

Seven Feathers offers two pricing tiers. The full-service RV Resort with amenities like an indoor pool and pull-through sites runs approximately $100 per night. In contrast, the dry camping area is completely free with a 5-day maximum stay limit. This makes the dry camping option an excellent value for self-contained RVs and travelers looking for an economical overnight or short-term stop while traveling along I-5.

What amenities are available at Seven Feathers RV Resort?

Seven Feathers offers two distinct camping options. The main RV Resort features an indoor pool and spacious pull-through sites with full hookups. For those choosing the Dry Camping area, it's a paved parking lot with no hookups, but it's clean and well-maintained with security patrols that make it feel safe. While the dry camping area is essentially a parking lot rather than traditional camping, it's conveniently located near the casino which offers dining options. The facility also provides a shuttle service to the casino. There's a 5-day stay limit for the dry camping area.

What is the location of Seven Feathers RV Resort and how close is it to the casino?

Seven Feathers RV Resort is conveniently located right off Interstate 5 in Canyonville, Oregon, positioned between Grants Pass and Roseburg. The dry camping area is situated directly behind the casino, making it extremely close and convenient for casino access. The location is ideal for travelers journeying along I-5 or those visiting nearby attractions like the Redwood Forest. A shuttle service runs between the RV areas and the casino for added convenience. The property sits in a spot where highway noise is minimal at night, providing a relatively quiet environment despite the proximity to I-5.

How do I make reservations at Seven Feathers RV Resort?

For the main Seven Feathers RV Resort with full hookups and amenities, advance reservations are recommended due to its popularity. Contact the resort directly by phone or through their website to secure a spot. However, for the dry camping area, no reservations are necessary - it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability in the dry camping area is generally good, with spots typically available even when arriving in the evening. The dry camping area has a 5-day maximum stay limit. For specific questions about either option, contact the Seven Feathers Casino Resort directly.
