Great Location, good park
Sites were level concrete. Nearly all back in but skilled staff helps you back in. WiFi was good. Bathhouse clean and adequate. Great location for visiting New Orleans. Recommend Charles Seafood down the road.
Super convenient
My husband and I are traveling across the country for our honeymoon and have never been to New Orleans. We were pleasantly surprised to find this KOA here, which is super convenient if your trying to see the city on a budget. The staff is super friendly and accommodating with lots of recommendations for the French Quarter and what we should check out. They also run a shuttle bus back and forth during the day which is cheaper than an uber or taxi. Definitely will stay here again on our next visit!
Okay as KOA goes
It’s a pretty decent park but compared to other KOA parks is just alright
Urban hide away
Nice KOA. People/staff are really nice. Interesting that houses are on the right when you pull in. We liked that this was 30 min outside of New Orleans so completely away from the bustle of the city. Our spot wasn't that level but we managed. Make sure you have extra blocks for your jacks. We enjoyed our stay here. Great eats just down the road called Seifers recommended by koa.
Well Maintained
Staff were all super pleasant. It’s a KOA so it’s clean and well run. The place is rather small and the RVs are pretty close together, but it’s not as bad if you get the ones that are not on the concrete pavement because the trees provide shade.
Restrooms are clean, and the laundry space is great. Didn’t use the rec room.
Public buses can be used to get into the French quarter
Tight spaces, good location
The spaces are a bit tight, only RV spots have a fire pit. Showers are well kept but the place smells musty. The location can’t be beat and the employees are great. Very safe area and convenient shopping places nearby. Short drive to downtown. Good Wi-Fi, good laundry and dish cleaning area. Would stay again but I wish the small camper area would be more spaced out and have fire pits or grills. Nice little playground and the pool looked good as well.

Bargain price, Not so nice area
Small Urban Park was clean. Had weird layout with houses along one perimeter. Owner/operator families lived there. Laundry room was clean.
Great for a KOA in a city with lots of things to do.
We had a great site, excellent shower house and laundry room. Concrete pads. The people here are very interested you have a great experience in New Orleans. They will let you know the good sites to see, from the French quarter to the cemeteries. They were very helpful on us getting our camper backed into our site.
Quiet, shady park
Although a little inconvenient, it is a nice clean park. The staff will help you back into you spot, which are all perpendicular to the street. All the roads to the area are narrow and low hanging wires. Be careful as you approach. Most of the NOLA activities are on the other side of town.
NOLA
As stated in other reviews this KOA is close to town and very convenient. But it's noisy. Traffic, trains, airplanes and construction noise, you've got it all here. Bring earplugs if your tent camping. The staff is super friendly though and the amenities are very nice.
Diamond in the rough
The lady at the front desk was nice. She told us where to go to see the garden district and the French Quarter. They only took a few minute drive to get there. This campground is in a neighborhood. Seems odd, but it works. They have night security. With the AC on, it was pleasant. Our site was a level concrete pad. We would stay again if we ever head back.
Great Location
Very friendly and helpful staff, close to New Orleans..what more could you ask for? Will be a repeat!
Small but well managed
Small campground with a pool, laundry, gift shop, and exceptional staff!
Close to downtown!
This was a nice KOA near the French Quarter. The KOA offers transportation to the French Quarter for free! It was such a nice perk! The pool is very nice and the sites are clean, level and spacious. We enjoyed our time here. Take time to explore the area. Shopping is nearby.

super close to everything
This campground is nice because its super close to everything. I stayed there while I was doing some community service in New Orleans, and it was very convenient. It's about 25 minutes from the French Quarter.
If you're visiting the city, make sure to check out the parks, some cool cemeteries, Jackson square, coffee from Cafe Du Mond, and all the other random stuff there is to do in NOLA.
I also really recommend trying to do some community service if you're visiting. Some of the communities out there are still really devastated from the hurricane, even this many years later. Meeting people out there and hearing some of their stories was really eye opening for me.
