Samuel W. Wahl Rec Area

Sam Wahl Recreation Area offers electric hookups with both 30 and 50 amp service at the RV sites. Water hookups are available, but there are no sewer connections. Campsites feature covered picnic tables, which provide welcome shade during hot weather. The recreation area has hiking trails that lead down to the lake, allowing for scenic walks and lake access. Camping fees are reasonable, with boondocking sites available for around $15 per night, plus a per-person entrance fee of approximately $10.
