Great Location

Stayed here for two nights over New Year’s Day 2026 (off‑season) at Surfside Beach RV Park. It’s a no‑frills campground, but it offers full hookups and is within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and of course, the beach. Some of the local bars allow smoking indoors, so we opted for a smoke‑free spot and had a great meal at the Seahorse Grill.

The sites have plenty of space between rigs, and although the campground isn’t gated—so some vehicles do cut through—it still felt safe. We never worried about leaving our chairs or gear outside. The sites are level but unpaved. The owner/host was very friendly, and the T‑Mobile 5G service was incredibly fast.
