A piece of Paradise

This park is amazingly beautiful. The new managers have turned this place around and made it look like a piece of Paradise. The managers are busting their butt to keep it beautiful, they are friendly and fun. Don’t pass up this gem.

Avoid Port A RV Resort

The park is beautiful, however, since it was sold in late 2021 the park has gone through 3 sets of managers. Prices have gone up substantially and they have begun to nickel and dime for the amenities(for example you are charged if you want to use the rec room). There is open hostility towards guests if they complain which will put you on the list to never be able to stay at the park again on the whim of the managers. The owners are just investors and the general managers are in Florida, so if you have any issues with the park- no one really cares. Also, you will not be able to drive a golf cart to the beach. Crossing 361 with a golf cart at this location could cost you a$500 fine. There are other great RV Parks in Port Aransas. Avoid this one.

Great Place w Tight Parking

The staff is super friendly. The location is convenient to all the Port A attractions and the beach. All sites have full connections and level concrete pads. Parking is tight. We have a 37 ft trailer and backing in was DIFFICULT due to the sites directly across. We watched another 37 ft trailer have the same issue, but a larger 5th wheel was able to maneuver much easier.

Almost Perfect

The only downside to the park, is the small cramped sites. But in Port A they are pretty much all like that. We try to get a site on the back row, that backs up to Charlie’s Pasture a wildlife refuge. We have stayed at Port A RV several time and have had a blast each time. They have 2 wonderful swimming pools that are heated, yes I said heated. Perfect for the winter Texans, or people like us that just love to go camping year round. They also have two Recreation rooms with sitting areas, Tv’s, Books to share, and kitchens for potluck events. Another great plus of this park is that it is only 1.5 miles from town. My husband and I love to ride our bike to town on the nice wide sidewalks (that are labeled for bikes or walking).

Little piece of heaven

This RV park is so friendly. They are back up to a game reserve that is next to a small airport. Lots of birds to see. We even seen ski divers. The pools and rec centers are top notch. Home town feel everywhere you go.

A Nice RV Park

We stayed here for one night while visiting Padres Island. We were not here long enough to see everything about the place. Our site overlooked a nature sanctuary which gave us a nice private place to view the sun set. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We spoke briefly to someone working in the office. They were very helpful and professional. Check in and out were problem free. I would stay here again.

Learning to be retired

We retired and our first stay has been at Port A RV resort. Very friendly staff and guests. We already feel as though we have been doing this for a long time. Lots of neighbor activities and pet friendly too. 2 pools, a hot tub, several gathering spots, laundry, palm trees... just feels like home.

Love this place!

This place is great for a quick weekend getaway to the beach! They have 2 pools and a hot tub and very nice bathrooms and showers with cold AC. It’s pretty close to town and to beach access 1A! The owners are super cool and helpful and it’s so easy to reserve online !

Nice place

Rebuilding everything is like new! Lost over 47 trailers to the 12’ water surge from Harvey. Wonderful owner and staff also the least expensive of all the open campgrounds on Port A. Looks awesome now lots of hard work. Pay these folks a visit!

Our beach getaway

We frequent this RV resort. It’s new to Port Aransas and recovered quickly after hurricane Harvey. It is adjacent to the nature preserve, which gives it a feeling of seclusion. This campground is close to restaurants and stores. We typically ride our bicycles around to eat, sightsee, or just enjoy the island. They recently opened a second area of the campground with its own pool, bathhouse/clubhouse and gym. All of the facilities are new, modern, and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always available to help guests.

SiteWe’ve been here a number of times and have stayed in a different site each time.
