Been making an annual trip with a growing friends group for years

A friend and I, along with our families have been making an annual trip to Pioneer for a few years now and only bad part is when it's time to leave. We always book the buddy site that is pull-through and has our campers facing each other with a common space outside our front doors. This also helps with shade when we put out our awnings and have plenty of room for everyone to relax in the shade. The pools, and multiple rec rooms are always clean and in great shape. There is a pen for dogs to play and easy boardwalk access to the beach through the dunes. People are great and a fun family atmosphere

Clean with good amenities

Very friendly atmosphere with quite a few permanent residents. The staff is helpful. The spaces are a little tight but adequate. The location is excellent with beach access. It is a nice area of the beach.

BEST PARK EVER!

Access to the beach! Drive your vehicle or golfcart out onto the sand. Sites are paved. Wonderful clubhouse with numerous activities. Nice pool. Clean restrooms and laundry. Best park and value we have found in 12 states. We will be going back for winter 2022!

Wonderful!

I love this park. Plenty of spots, different options. Two pools, rec center, activities. Best part is the boardwalk to the beach where you can drive over with your golf cart and get to the town via the beach access roads.

Super Nice til checked in

The resort personnel were wonderful over the phone and at check in. After that we were escorted to our site by a very stern man. He stated we should follow his instructions which caused us to hit another campers truck when our rear end swung around. He made a very big deal out of it and told the other party, who was very nice, that it was our fault for not listening to him. If parks weren’t so money hungry that they try to put big rigs like ours in such tight spots. Speaking of spots you have exactly 12 feet between you and your neighbor. Great location and amenities but this park goes overboard with rules. If your truck wheels are over the line at front of driveway you are given a citation. You constantly feel like the gestapo was coming because you broke a rule. Ruined our trip.
